• Account information — email, password (handled by Firebase), optional display name.
• Saved learning data — glossary terms or items you choose to save.
• Log and device data — IP, user-agent, timestamps for security and operational analytics.
• Cookies and local storage — see the Cookie Notice.
• Advertising (Google AdSense). We use Google AdSense to display contextual advertising on the Service. AdSense and Google's ad partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google may collect IP address, user-agent, page URLs you visit on the Service, and ad-interaction events. Where required by law, AdSense serves non-personalized ads by default. Service providers

We share limited information with vendors that help us run the Service: Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, Firestore), Google AdSense (advertising), and our AI provider (Gemini, for the glossary explainer). These vendors are contractually limited to using data to provide services to us, except that Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads as described in the Cookie Notice.

How we use information

To operate the Service, manage accounts, respond to support, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve through aggregated analysis. We do not sell personal information.
